Important Tournament Rules and Information:

Please review the following key points to ensure a smooth and enjoyable tournament experience for everyone:

  • Neck Protection:

    • Neck guards are mandatory and will be fully enforced in accordance with the new USA Hockey rule.

  • Tournament Merchandise:

    • T-shirt and Photo Vendors will be available at each of the main venues throughout the weekend.
    • Limited Edition Tournament Pins will be on sale at the tournament command center for $5 each.

  • Tournament Rules:

    • The detailed tournament rules are attached to this email. They include information on tie-breakers, seeding, and jersey colors.
    • Jersey Colors: Home teams wear LIGHT jerseys; away teams wear DARK jerseys.

  • No Artificial Noisemakers:

    • Please leave cowbells and other artificial noisemakers at home. They are not permitted.

  • Game Updates and Standings:

    • All games and standings will be available on the tournament website. There will be no paper brackets posted in the rinks.
    • Please regularly check the website for updates.

  • Live Streaming:

    • All venues have LiveBarn for watching games online. Visit www.livebarn.com for information and pricing. (Note: This service is not affiliated with the tournament.)

  • Officials:

    • All games for U10 and older will have a TWO-man referee crew due to limited availability of officials nationwide.

  • Code of Conduct:

    • This is a USA Hockey sanctioned event. There is ZERO tolerance for inappropriate behavior.
    • Swearing at officials, loud and unruly spectators, or coaches/players may result in ejection from the event and/or facilities.
    • Please be ambassadors for our organization and sport.

School Absences:

  • Please be aware that Friday, October 4th, is a school day. If your child will be absent to attend the tournament games, please make the necessary arrangements with their school in advance.

Final Notes:

  • Arrival Preparedness:

    • Ensure your player arrives on time and is ready for warm-ups.
    • Bring both red and white jerseys and socks to every game.

  • Equipment Checklist:

    • Neck Guard
    • Water bottles
    • All standard hockey gear
    • Warm-ups (including tennis shoes)
